In this workshop, we’ll explore meditation and self-reflective writing (journaling) as complementary practices for self-exploration. We’ll work with guided meditation and breathwork to ground ourselves; journaling will assist in the unfolding of our hearts. These practices in tandem provide a wonderful foundation for inquiry, growth, and self-exploration.
For this seasonal workshop, at the time of the Winter Solstice, we’ll be exploring a theme: "Stillness"
For those comfortable engaging in conversation, there will be opportunities to do so (though sharing is not required). All writing is free and loose, no rules.
No experience with writing or meditation necessary. All levels are welcome.
What to bring to the workshop:
Bring your yoga mat, or use one provided by the studio.
Any props we use for added comfort will be available at the studio.
Wear comfortable clothes. There won’t be much movement (this is a still and quiet practice) but we want you to be comfy.
Bring a notebook, journal, or loose pieces of paper.
Also bring a favorite pen or pencil. If you like colored markers/pencils, you might like to bring those too.
Bring an open heart, and come as you are.
